It has certainly been a busy day at Twickenham today. What with the storming win of England men’s team against the All Blacks earlier in the day, expectation for the final test of the England Women vs. the Black Ferns was certainly high. Going into the match already having won the series 2-0, all eyes were on the England Ladies to see if they could make it a white wash and claim the final win at their home ground.
And the answer is yes, yes they could.
From the kick-off the game (which was actually aired on Sky Sports!) was a fast paced one, with two tries for England coming very early, Scarratt playing a key role in both as well as kicking the conversion. By half time the scoreboard read 24-15 to England, putting the team on track for their third consecutive win over the World Cup winners.
The second half followed suit, with New Zealand being still unable to fathom the England defence, leaving the full time score at 32-23 to England Ladies and Heather Fisher to pick up player of the match.
