England will have to wait until the first T20 on 29th January to try and retain the Ashes after losing the final ODI in this series.  Although England set some good partnerships, a slower run rate put them on the back foot despite Taylor’s impressive 64 off 57.  Sciver also finished the innings with 43 of 35, putting England on 268 for 4, however Australia were ready to respond.  The over talented Ellyse Perry’s 90, combined with her strong partnership with Alex Blackwell, chased down England’s total, putting two more points on their series scorecard.

Grab your duvet and a bucket of coffee on 29th as the first T20 will be live on Sky Sport. Coverage starts at 3:25am on Sky Sport 2.

Australia 269-6 (49.3 overs) beat England 268-4 (50 overs) by four wickets. See here for the match score card.
